SHAIKH Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, first deputy president of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports is set to make his return to the ring. Shaikh Khalid will be fighting 100 rounds with all the earnings going to various charity events, according to Shaikh Khalid’s social media accounts.
“I would like to announce my next challenge this year which will be boxing,” Shaikh Khalid wrote. “This time, the challenge in that I will be doing 100 3-minute rounds, with one-minute rest between them, and the charity challenge will go to Bahrain Heroes and injured families. Please come and support on November 2019”.

Bapco hold Garmco
BAPCO drew 2-2 with Garmco in the fourth week of the Companies and Establishments Football League (CEFL) at Bapco Club in Awali. Both Bapco and Garmco are on seven points.
Bapco scored first in the 33rd minute through Mohammed Sultan. Garmco equalised in the 44th minute through Mohammed Jaffar’s penalty conversion. Garmco went ahead in the 88th minute through Sayed Hussain but Bapco did not give up and equalised in injury time through Bekheet Mubarak.

JABER Abdul Aal beat Ali Darion 6-3, 6-1, in the boys under-14 section of the 24th BBK Juniors Open Tennis Championship yesterday at Bahrain Tennis Club in Juffair.
In other matches, Alston D’souza beat Erwin Godinho w/o, Abdulla Nass got the better of Movindo Dissanayak 6-1, 6-2, Fares Hajjar beat Rayan Anwar 6-1, 6-3, Mohammed Al Huda sailed past Anas Temzini 6-0, 6-1 and Mohammed Al Shehabi tamed Selim Elsharwkawi 6-1, 6-1.
