Mandarin Oriental has entered the Middle East hospitality scene with the opening of Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai which was developed by wasl Asset Management Group, a real estate development and management company in Dubai, according to a press release.
Designed by designer Jeffrey Wilkes, the property features 256 guest rooms and suites, most with private balconies and terraces, offering ocean views or the city skyline.
Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Dubai has six restaurants and bars, adding to Dubai’s dining scene. The two signature restaurants are Tasca by Portuguese celebrity chef José Avillez and Netsu, a Warayaki-style Japanese steakhouse by Australian-born chef Ross Shonhan.
As a beachfront resort to Dubai’s financial and business districts, the hotel boasts meeting and event facilities, the release added. A 700-square-metre glass-walled ballroom features a beachfront terrace and is complemented by four meeting spaces and a private Bridal Room.
The Spa at the property has nine treatment rooms featuring individual changing and bathroom facilities, and some have private terraces overlooking the ocean. There is also a state-of-the-art Fitness Centre and a Little Nomads kids’ club with a range of fun activities.
