Tabuk, Saudi Arabia: A veteran Saudi diver is on a mission to enter Guinness Book of World records by spending the longest time underwater.
Tabuk senior Diving and Primary Emergency Response instructor Captain Mohammed Al-Somali is bidding to stay underwater for three days at least.
He will start training today and spend ten hours as a first step for the big day.
He will start the ten-hour endurance test from mid-day until 10 PM tonight at a swimming pool in Tabuk.
In a statement to Sabq, he said he hopes to stay underwater for seven to ten days in an unprecedented world record.
