MANAMA: The total number of employees in the financial sector in 2018 amounted to 14,148 compared with 14,093 at the end of 2017, an increase of 55 jobs, according to the annual survey conducted by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB).
The employment in the non-bank financial sector (comprising insurance firms, money changers, financing companies, investment business firms, and other non-bank financial institutions) increased by 109 jobs, taking the number to 6,303 employees at end-2018 compared with 6,194 at end-2017 .
