MANAMA: Bahrain’s flexibility and openness make it an ideal investment partner, the Premier said yesterday.
His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa stressed the kingdom’s keenness to maximise benefits from investment opportunities in Bahrain and Thailand as he met a commercial delegation from the country.
It included representatives of major specialised companies.
Strong and historic relations between both nations are based on mutual understanding and a desire to strengthen co-operation to serve common interests, he pointed out.
The Premier hailed the visit of the delegation, stressing its importance in further establishing economic and commercial partnerships.
He emphasised flexibility and openness characterising the investment climate in Bahrain.
He described it as an incentive to further enhance co-operation, mainly in industries, food security, tourism and technological fields.
The Premier said such visits foster co-operation, and pointed out the key role of the private sector and businessmen in this respect. He called for more agreements to take advantage of the various trade opportunities available in both countries.
