A Canadian man surprised his girlfriend with an engagement ring at the rim of a volcano in Indonesia.
The couple, Jarod and Alison, were on their first climb of Mount Bromo, when Jarod decided to ask for Alison’s hand in marriage, at 7,600 ft.
A YouTube video was published that contained drone footage of Jarod proposing and Alison accepting his proposal.
“Thanks to our friends Jenny and Stu for capturing the moment and helping make this all happen,” said Jarod to the Daily Mail.
The couple met in a Teacher Education Program in Ottawa and shared their love of adventure and traveling.
