MANAMA: The Artificial Intelligence Society has joined the Young Technical Entrepreneur Programme ‘Endani Tech 4.0’ partners.
The first edition will be held between July 15 and August 30 under the patronage of the Commerce, Industry and Tourism Ministry. It aims to provide Bahraini university students with technology and knowledge to establish their businesses in this emerging sector.
Artificial Intelligence Society president Dr Jassim Haji said the programme is a platform for various university students in technology and computer science disciplines, and aims to provide them with the necessary knowledge in the field of AI, which is one of the most important tools of the Industrial Revolution 4.0.
Dr Haji stressed that many Bahraini youth have the potential and capabilities to take part in the upgrade of modern technology in Bahrain, and establish the kingdom as a regional hub for AI development and entrepreneurship.
Programme spokesman Masab Al Shaikh said the association of the Artificial Intelligence Society is a great achievement for young people taking part in the programme, in view of its role in guiding and supporting entrepreneurs and students to initiate new AI technologies as well as organising regular workshops and conferences with multinationals in Bahrain, and its ongoing quest to invest in technology and AI.
