Bahrain: A Bahraini benefactor extended a humanitarian lifeline to a poor Peruvian schoolboy, who was doing his homework underneath a street light.
Moved by a CCTV video recording, businessman Yakoob Mubarak decided to help Victor Angulo, a twelve-year-old boy who lives in Moche, a city in northern Peru.
He travelled to Peru and met Victor and his poor family, which lives in a house lacking electricity.
He then decided to fund the construction of a house for the family and offered them money to start a business.
He also donated fifteen computers to Victor's class and a wheelchair for one of Victor's disabled friends.
