A 10-year-old boy died yesterday after suffering extensive burns in a blaze at his home in Riffa. He was sleeping with his five-year-old brother when a fire ripped through his room on the first floor on Friday.
The eldest brother, 12, was sleeping in a ground floor room. Civil Defence personnel rescued the brothers who were transferred to the hospital immediately.
The eldest suffered carbon monoxide poisoning while the 10-year-old suffered 91pc burns, reports our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
