Three students from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department at Bahrain University have developed a ‘self-balancing electric scooter’ that allows people with disabilities to move independently.
The smart wheelchair was presented at a graduation projects exhibition held at the College of Engineering.
It can detect distances and is equipped with sensors and a gyroscope to help users measure or maintain orientation and angular velocity.
