Professional golfer Rory Young putted home to glory in a fun GDNonline competition and drove off with a McLaren prize.
He correctly answered that actor Jason Statham had rolled up in a McLaren 720S for the movie premier of the box office smash ‘Fast and Furious presents: Hobbs & Shaw’ and his entry was the first drawn.
Expat Scot Rory, the Awali Golf Club pro, was presented with his own 720S (The LEGO Speed Champions McLaren 720S interpretation) from Matthew Vigurs, branch specialist at McLaren Bahrain’s Tubli showroom.
The terrific toy costs just BD12, whereas the luxury sports car, which features in the film, starts at around BD120,000. Rory says his fiancée Charmaine’s son, Charles, 13, can’t wait to put the pieces together. “It’s great because we spotted the competition just after we returned from watching the movie!”
