Volunteers handing out the drinks and fruits
Hundreds of workers were presented with fruit as part of an initiative organised by Discover Islam.
The Beat the Heat initiative, in its 15th week, included the distribution of water bottles, snacks and fruit to 350 workers in the Salmaniya area.
Through the campaign, more than 3,000 workers received refreshments during summer this year. The campaign will continue until the end of the season.
