Alba has been honoured by the International Organisation for Children Protection (INOCPT) for its efforts to provide a safe environment for children and community. It was also recognised by the Brussels-based organisation for its support of children with special needs. Receiving the award on behalf of Alba was human resources first manager Hamad Al Shayba, who received it from INOCPT Bahrain director Salman Al Subaie, in the presence of Enmaa Special Education director Abdulrahman Al Ghanim.
