Manama: Under the patronage of Mr. Jameel Bin Mohamed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour and Social Development, Golden Trust Training & Consultancy announced organizing Bahrain’s 2nd Career Empowerment Week, which will be held during September 29 to the October 3 at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Kingdom of Bahrain.
The event addresses "The Impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution on the Training and Vocational Education Needs".
This year’s forum focuses on key objectives including empowering the workforce by upskilling their competencies in line with the developments of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, through reviewing the adaptation and suitability of the future skills and competencies proposed globally and their impact on the regional and local training industry in creating and sustaining employment, highlighting the importance in spreading the culture of training and vocational education among the employees and job seekers.
Mr. Ahmed Al Sakran, managing director of Golden Trust stated “We highly value Bahrain’s leadership consideration in empowering Bahrain’s human capital through the support and initiatives in place to overcome the unemployment challenges and creating valuable jobs for Bahrainis which have been achieved by the recently announced results by the ministry of labour and social development and Tamkeen. As the forum theme is strategically aligned with globally ranked topic priorities in the training and vocational education sector, it aims to identify solutions to the challenges faced by employers and leaders in empowering, developing and sustaining their human capital in line with the industrial revolution 4.0.
Al Sakran added “CEW will host around fourteen (14) leading industry experts, speakers and trainers from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, UK and Canada to explore the best practices of investing in youth talent development and capacity building to achieve organisational efficiency and productivity. Where a series of executive interactive training workshops will be introduced covering several competencies and topics in areas such as Transformational Leadership & People Management, Critical & Analytical Thinking in Complex Problem Solving, Understanding and Dealing with Deraillers, Coaching Towards Increasing Corporate Competencies & Productivity and Corporate Entrepreneurship & Service Orientation.
