DUBAI: The Kuwaiti Amir has been admitted to hospital in the US for medical tests and postponed a meeting with US President Donald Trump planned for this week in Washington, state news agency KUNA said yesterday.
Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah had been due to meet Trump on Thursday.
That meeting will occur at a later date, a senior official in the Amir’s office said.
He had held public meetings with members of his cabinet in Kuwait before travelling to the US.
