A DELEGATION from the Applied Science University (ASU) visited the London South Bank University (LSBU) to discuss matters relating to the ongoing partnership between the two universities.
The team comprised ASU board of trustees chairman Professor Waheeb Alkhaja, president Prof Ghassan Aouad, director of administration and finance Abdulla Alkhaja and head of international partnerships Catherine Hogan.
The delegation members met LSBU vice-chancellor Prof David Phoenix, deputy vice-chancellor Prof Paul Ivey and other senior colleagues.
Discussions covered institutional and national updates, partnership management and collaboration on academic degrees, joint research and staff development activities.
The partnership was established in 2014 and covers a wide range of activities.
ASU and LSBU are also organising their second international research conference – the International Conference on Innovation, Technology, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship – to be held in Bahrain on November 24-25.
