Kuwait: The security authorities dealt with hundreds of cybercrimes over the first six months of this year.
The Ministry of Justice has launched an investigation into 1,134 suspected cybercrimes between January and June, according to Alqabas.
According to figures released by the ministry’s Directorate of Statistics and Research, six to seven cybercrimes are reported daily on average in Kuwait.
Defamation, encroachment on privacy, blackmailing, insults, threats and misuse of mobile phones are the main cybercrimes in Kuwait.
