MANAMA: A total of 8,429 prizes are up for grabs as part of the launch of the 10th branch of Midway Supermarket in Bahrain yesterday.
The branch, which opened yesterday in Tubli, is in addition to other branches in Zallaq, Riffa, Hamala, Saar, Manama, Moda Mall, Muharraq, Arad and Diyar Muharraq and was a BD2 million investment.
Midway Supermarket chief executive Khalid Al Amin said the total investment of Midway Supermarkets has reached around BD20m in all branches, making it one of the largest markets in Bahrain specified in food items and consumable items.
“Increasing investments in local markets comes from a national duty to enhance the economy and its stability,” said Mr Al Amin, who is also chairman of the Food Wealth Committee at Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
“Midway Supermarkets is keen to expand the geographical area of its business which contributes to stimulating the trade movement.”
The Scratch and Win campaign will run until October 21.
