Safra Youth Centre routed North Sehla 11-3 in the third round of the Khalid bin Hamad Futsal League for Youth Centres, People with Disabilities, Girls, Ministries, Expatriate Communities, Banks and Companies.
Ali Saleh was honoured with the Best Player prize after netting six goals in the match. Teammates Abdulla Saleh, Ahmed Ghalib and Ayman Ali scored the other goals.
North Sahla’s goals were scored by Taher Al Mutawa, Alyas Shaker and Ali Mohammed.
Meanwhile, South Sahla booked a spot in the fourth round after defeating Sanad 4-2.
South Sehla’s scorers were Mohammed Moosa, who netted twice, Ali Moosa and Jawad Amin. Their team-mate Ali Al Malki was chosen as the player of the match.
Hussein Abdulaziz and Mahmoud Abdul Ahad scored for Sanad.
Buri also made it to the fourth round of the league after beating Zayed Town 4-2 through penalty shoot-out, after drawing 2-2 in full time.
