Jeddah: Saudi Arabian Airlines has added four destinations to its flights taking off from the newly-opened terminal 1 at the King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah.
The national carrier will start soon operating international regular flights to Irbil, in Iraq, Sharm el Sheikh and Alexandria in Egypt and Jordan’s capital, Amman.
The Saudi Arabian Airlines has already started operating flights to Manama, Abu Dhabi and Muscat, bringing the overall number of international destinations to seven, in addition to 21 domestic ones.
The Saudi civil aviation authorities are mulling plans to increase the capacity of the new airport to reach 100 million passengers annually.
