American Mission Hospital (AMH) has officially launched its new mobile app, AMH Mobile, for patients.
Designed to make it quick and simple for patients to manage their care right from their mobile phones; the app includes the booking of appointments, reviewing lab and radiology results and prescription management.
“Our success as an organisation is defined by our ability to align around a common mission and vision, execute against this vision effectively and renew ourselves through creative thinking and great teamwork,” said AMH corporate chief executive Dr George Cheriyan.
With the new app, patients can view lab and radiology results immediately after the result is authorised.
They can also check the availability of doctors in peripheral clinics and book appointments without calling the call centre. Additionally, the app sends out reminders for chronic medications before the dose ends, helping patients refill medication before it runs out.
Apart from the patient portal, the app has other features such as monitoring blood pressure and body mass index calculations, promotions, news and more. The free app is available for download on both the App Store and Google Play Store.
