BUSAITEEN scored a narrow 3-2 victory over Riffa last night in the Nasser bin Hamad Bahrain Premier League at the National Stadium.
Bustaiteen moved to sixth place in the standings with their first victory from three matches while Riffa stay at the bottom with their second successive defeat.
Abdulla Duaij, Timbo and Saleh Abdulahameed scored for the winners while Komail Alaswad netted both the goals for Riffa.
The Bahrain Premier League will take a break for friendly and international qualifiers till October 21.
The next matches on October 21 will be between Manama and Al Shabab at Muharraq Stadium while Al Ahli takes on Busaiteen at Khalifa Sports Stadium and East Riffa clash with Al Najma at the same venue.
On October 23, Riffa meet Al Hala at Khalifa Sports Stadium while Al Hidd confront Muharraq at Muharraq Stadium.
