Riyadh: Libyan conjoined twins will arrive today in Riyadh to undergo a complex surgery to separate them.
The initiative follows directives from Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister Prince Mohamed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
Ahmed and Mohammed will be admitted to the King Abdulla Specialist Hospital in the Saudi Capital to study their case before performing the surgery.
The conjoined brothers were born on June 24, 2019, in Tripoli, said Saudi Royal Court Adviser, Dr Abdulla bin Abdulaziz Al Rabea.
