Dubai: Marriage contracts will go totally paperless in the emirate of Dubai next year.
The courts of Dubai will start implementing the Smart Marriage (Smart Zawaj) in 2020.
The step is part of a wide-ranging strategy to turn Dubai into a fully Paperless Government by 2021.
Dubai Court's director-general Taresh Abd Al Mansouri described the Smart Zawaj as an important step in the strategy to shift from the traditional to the electronic procedures.
