Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings, a major player in the general building materials industry, said its floor coating systems has won accreditation from Dubai Central Laboratory (DCL).
The company got the DCL approval following a rigorous test by inspectors from its Green Building Standards team, who examined the diverse range of flooring technology offered by the company.
“This is a significant accreditation and gives validation to the quality of our products and the processes we adhere to for our customers in this region,” remarked Vik Vithlani, the regional director of Sherwin-Williams Protective & Marine Coatings.
The DCL regulations support Dubai’s strategic plan to create a sustainable urban environment and extend the ability of the UAE’s infrastructure to meet the needs of future development, he stated.
They provide product conformity assessment, tests and studies, standards and control measurements using accredited laboratories for consumer protection and customer satisfaction, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
