Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) has urged motorsport enthusiasts to experience the thrills of the popular Ebrahim K Kanoo Drag and Drift Night.
“The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” hosts another edition of the exciting double-header on Monday (October 28) in Sakhir.
Participants can take their own cars or motorbikes and push them to their limit either down the drag strip or around a drifting course. BIC’s world-class quarter-mile strip - a member of the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Worldwide Network -will host the drag runs.
The drifting, meanwhile, will take place at BIC’s Vehicle Dynamics Area. It is a specially configured facility at BIC’s car park that is surrounded by safety barriers and which provides the largest open tarmac area in Bahrain.
Both the drag and the drifting can be enjoyed for a single fee of BD10.500. Participation in just the drag racing or just the drifting costs BD7.500. Registration can be done on site from 5pm, and the action will be held from 6pm to 11pm.
Those who would like to experience the drag or drift as a passenger can get into a participant’s car for an additional BD4. Spectators can purchase tickets for BD2 apiece.
As part of the drag racing programme, BIC is also offering the Dragster Xperience, which gives participants a taste of pure speed as they are taken from zero to 100kph in just one second while seated in a Top Dragster, for BD42.
Safety standards of the highest level are followed at all times for both drivers and spectators alike.
