A NUMBER of activities have been lined up to celebrate Japanese Culture Day on November 4.
An Ikebana (Japanese art of flower arrangement) demonstration, calligraphy and a Japanese market with handmade items available for purchase are part of the celebrations.
Products include tea ware crafted by Japanese pottery artists, kimono and obi table runners, traditional yukata (summer kimono) and haori (kimono-style jacket), and much more.
A selection of Japanese foods will also be prepared for the day. The event will be held at the Darseen Café at the Bahrain National Museum, from 3pm to 9pm.
