Abu Dhabi: Batches of six types of medication have been taken off shelves in the emirate of Abu Dhabi for non-compliance with endorsed medical standards.
The Abu Dhabi Health Directorate issued three medical circulars withdrawing Amydramine paediatric syrup, Moxal plus chewable tablet, Julphamox 500 mg capsule, Julmentin 2X Tablet, Rosuvastatin calaium and Eloxatin 50mg/10ml Oxaliplatin.
The drugs are prescribed for the treatment of allergies, acidity, laryngitis, treatment of respiratory infection, lowering cholesterol, in addition to treating colon cancer.
