MANAMA: A Bahraini has filed a case after discovering that a property he owned in Seef district had been sold without his knowledge.
Two other people used a power of attorney which was given to them by the owner in 2007 to sell the property without informing him or giving him the money.
The High Civil Court in its ruling ordered them to pay BD527,000 to the owner, in addition to BD5,000 as compensation. The owner discovered that his property had been sold when he filed a case to abrogate the power of attorney he had given to the two defendants.
