Hublot, Swiss luxury watchmaker, is defined by its innovative concept, which began with the highly original combination of gold and rubber.
The release of the iconic, multi-award-winning Big Bang in 2005 paved the way for new flagship collections (Classic Fusion, Spirit of Big Bang), with complications ranging from the simple to the highly sophisticated, establishing the extraordinary DNA of the Swiss watchmaking house and ensuring its impressive growth.
To mark the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Scuderia Ferrari, Hublot launched the Big Bang Scuderia Ferrari 90th anniversary watch, a new model available in three exclusive versions produced in limited editions.
The model reflects the rich history and heritage of Scuderia Ferrari in three limited editions conceived in collaboration with the Ferrari Design Centre with the pieces illustrating the development of the materials used in car racing over the years.
The 45mm diameter of each of the three editions houses the
famous UNICO movement, a flyback chronograph that offers a 72-hour power reserve.
Their bezel is cut in ceramic carbon, the same material that is used for Formula 1 brake discs while also presenting an airy and elegant piece relating to the “Gran Turismo” universe with the launch of the Classic Fusion Ferrari GT watch this year.
The entirely new Classic Fusion Ferrari GT is available in three different cases: Titanium (limited edition of 1,000 pieces), King Gold (limited edition of 500 pieces) and 3D Carbon (limited edition of 500 pieces).
Meanwhile, the new Big Bang Sang Bleu II, which passionately channels the design skills of world famous tattoo artists Maxime Plescia-Buchi, is also available in a 45mm case either in Titanium or 18-carat King Gold.
It has a case with finely-chiselled lines, conveyed in three dimensions, as well as two elongated diamonds and an arrow for hands as an expression to the passage of time.
In an ultra-luxe, super-trendy combinations, Hublot sets its Big Bang models with all the colours of the rainbow, enriching Isaac Newton’s seven hues with the magenta radiance of pink sapphires with a dial boldly flaunting a chromatic bezel composed of 48 baguette-cut diamonds.
The 39mm Big Bang One-Click Rainbow is adorned with 425 brilliant-cut stones and the 45mm Big Bang Unico Rainbow with 338 along with eight colours: rubies, pink sapphires, amethysts, blue sapphires, blue topazes, tsavorites, yellow and orange sapphires.
Meanwhile, a timeless must-have model from the Hublot collection, the Classic
Fusion, comes in both 38mm 18-karat polished rose King Gold with 1,517 diamonds and the 33mm case with 1,380 diamonds.
As an exceptional marriage of art and watchmatching through the use of the most sublime materials, the latest Classic Fusion Orlinski series is sculpted in the aesthetic signature of artist Richard Orlilnski, including its faceted dial.
The 40mm case is available in titanium or King Gold with no fewer than six watches created as a continuation of the artistic and technological alliance between Mr Orlinski and Hublot and on four of the timepieces the bezel is set with 54 diamonds and sits on a case which is either fully set with 210 diamonds or partially set with 112 diamonds.
Free from precious stones, the other two watches exude a more subtle light, with the accent on the pure lines, the graduated light and shade and of the materials as well as the sharp angled forms of Mr Orlinski’s sculptures.
Also available is the new Spirit of Big Bang Tourbillon 42mm and its carbon-fibre case with black or blue occlusions.
This double edition, limited to 100 models each, has a barrel-shaped case made of carbon-fibre integrating black or blue composites with a “One-
Click” fastening system for the first time.
Last but not least, the hallmark of excellence, the Classic Fusion Chronograph featuring a Hublot case bearing Berluti’s Scritto script available in titanium or bronze, paired with a Venezia Cold Brown or Cold Gold leather strap.
Available in a limited edition of only 200 pieces each set, the two elegant hybrid timepieces showcase an infinite array of autumnal colours in all their contrasting shades.
Pieces will be showcased at the Middle East’s leading jewellery and watches exhibition, Jewellery Arabia, which opens today and will continue until November 23 at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.
