Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy president, Bahrain Olympic Committee president, has deputised Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Bahrain Combat Sports Council president and 2019 Brave International Combat Week Organising Committee member, to attend the ceremony to honour sponsoring companies and heads of committees involved in organising the event.
The event took place on Monday at Al Areen Palace.
The 2019 Brave International Combat Week, which was held under the patronage of Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King for Charity Works representative, National Security Advisor, and Supreme Council of Youth and Sports president, concluded on Saturday.

Considered as the biggest sports event at the Asian level, the week-long Brave International Combat Week was organised at Khalifa Sports City’s Gym and featured the 6th edition of the Amateur World Championship and Brave 31 as well as the 1st KHK World Open Championship.
Shaikh Khalid expressed his pride at the enormous role the sponsoring companies played in organising this international event on Bahrain’s soil for the third year in a row.
He praised the efforts of the heads and members of the organising committees which have contributed to making the event a huge success.
Shaikh Khalid said the Kingdom of Bahrain has made resounding successes through the new edition which adds to the series of achievements the Kingdom has accomplished in hosting major sports events.
Likewise, Shaikh Khalid thanked Ali Qamber, head of the Executive Committee for the preparations and planning, for making the event successful.
