Riyadh: The 2nd Ad Diriyah ePrix race of the single-seater, electrically powered Formula E championship opened today in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Defence Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud attended the opening of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier, and HM the King's Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Supreme Council for Youth Sports (SCYS) chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa also attended.
The International Motor Federation (FIA) is organising the sporting event as part of the annual Ad Diriyah festival, according to Sabq.
