I WOULD like to point out the menace created by illegal car washing people in the Manama area, especially near Al Hamra Cinema.
These people reserve public car parking spaces with water cans, hollow bricks and other wooden materials. They will let vehicle owners park in those reserved spaces and charge them. Those who are not using their services, will have their vehicles damaged by scratching and damaging tyres or vehicles.
The so-called illegal car cleaners make the walkways dirty and are posing a threat to residents in the form of a mafia.
Authorities have to look into this seriously to control this type of menace and stop the practice.
