Dubai: Dubai Police launched a new smart application to spare motorists traffic congestion ordeals, especially the tailbacks during peak hours.
The new service, which is available on the Dubai Police application, is accessible for smart phones fitted with Android or iOS systems, said Artificial Intelligence director Brigadier Khalid Nasser Al Razogui.
The new application enables motorists in the emirate to get updated information about locations of accidents and traffic jams and suggest alternative routes.
Motorists also get useful information about the locations of police stations, pharmacies and hospitals.
They also receive instant warning in case of accidents on their way as well as alternative routes to avoid tailbacks resulting from road crashes, according to Emarat Alyoum.
