The wait is almost over for fans of Arabic music, as they will get the chance to watch their favourite regional stars live in action at family destinations in Dubai in a series of concerts that will be held as part of UAE’s 48th National Day celebrations.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), the free-to-attend star-studded concerts will feature a string of Emirati singers - Balqees, Hussain Al Jassmi, Hamad Al Amri, Eida Al Menhali and Mohamed Al Shehhi – who will be joined by top Kuwaiti singer Essa Al Marzouq in taking the National Day celebrations in Dubai to a new level of excitement.
Launching the series of concerts will be Eida Al Menhali at beachfront destination La Mer on November 29, followed by Balqees and Essa Al Marzouq performing at the same venue on December 1. On National Day on December 2, celebrity singer Hussain Al Jassmi is set to hold concert-goers spellbound with a performance at La Mer while Hamad Al Amri will belt out some of his biggest hits at the multicultural festival park Global Village on the same day. The live entertainment will culminate in a concert featuring Mohamed Al Shehhi on December 6 at Al Seef, the popular waterfront promenade.
The concerts at La Mer and Al Seef are being organised in collaboration with DFRE’s Strategic Partner, Meraas. All National Day concerts in Dubai will kick off at 9:00 pm.
In addition to the mega musical entertainment, the National Day celebrations organised by DFRE will offer residents and visitors many more memorable events and activities for everyone to enjoy. - TradeArabia News Service
