As a baby boomer and parent of three, I do not feel sorry for the millennials who can’t afford to buy their own home and are saddled with student debt.
They fly back to the nest after university, contributing nothing to the household, and are dismissive of their parents.
Why not get off Instagram and all the other social media platforms that fuel your narcissism and take a good look at what your parents have done for you: the slog, sacrifice, time and money poured into you to give you everything they could.
As for those travelling around the world, creating a big carbon footprint, then lecturing us about the planet, who is funding your lifestyle? Yes, your much-maligned parents.
I’ve given my children far more than other generations expected to receive. That’s the problem.
