Has Bahrain suddenly found a new source of water that we have not been told about?
The “Let’s grow tobacco” saga has reignited. I have to ask the question, “Who is behind this promotion”. The rest of the world is having to cut down on production because of a shortage of irrigation water and now, we’re going to be persuaded that it would be a good idea to grow it here.
Maybe there should be a lot more research for which I am sure there are experts here in Bahrain who could contribute by telling us of their experiences in the tobacco growing regions of America.
