Animal lovers took part in a charity event at the Dragon Hotel and Resort in Amwaj Islands yesterday.
‘Animal and Environment Awareness Day’ was organised by the Animal and Environment Protection Charity Organisation (AEPCO) as part of its efforts to raise awareness and funds.
AEPCO president Shaikha Marwa bint Abdulrahman Al Khalifa said this was the first animal-friendly festival to be held in a hotel in the country.
The event also featured games and music with 30 prizes up for grabs.
