Flashing green lights have been added to traffic signals on Janabiya Highway.
Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry Under-Secretary Ahmed Abdulaziz Al Khayyat and Roads Planning and Design director at the Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Ministry Kadhim Abdul Latif attended the launch. “Thirty flashing green lights have already been activated at 10 major junctions across Bahrain, which have helped slash red light offences by 46 per cent and reduced accidents tangibly,” said Mr Abdul Latif.
