A COMPETITION will be held to raise awareness about water conservation in the Gulf.
The Water Sciences and Technology Association is hosting the challenge, in which entrants must produce short movies highlighting domestic water conservation.
The winner will be rewarded with BD2,500, while the second place prize is BD1,500 and third place will get BD500.
“Participants should present a short video which they have never used before in any other competition,” said executive director Ali Hussain in a statement.
“Individuals, groups of people or establishments can take part in the competition.”
The video can include animation and be produced in Arabic or English.
However, English submissions must have Arabic subtitles and each entry should be two to five minutes in length.

The last date for submissions is December 31.
