MANAMA: The 26th edition of The World Islamic Banking Conference (WIBC) has begun at the Gulf Hotel, Bahrain under the patronage of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Al Khalifa.
The largest gathering of Islamic banking and finance leaders in the world will see discussions on key challenges and opportunities like digital disruption, fintech and the global economic slowdown.
A key part of the event is the WIBC 2019 performance awards ceremony later today, which will see winners across 14 categories being honoured.
