RIYADH: The Saudi Cabinet yesterday welcomed GCC leaders to hold their 40th summit on Tuesday in Riyadh.
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud will chair the forum, which will discuss enhancing co-operation and integration among member states.
Meanwhile, Qatar News Agency reported that the Saudi King has invited the Amir of Qatar to the summit. GCC secretary general Abdullatif Al Zayani handed over the invitation to Qatari Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani in Doha, it said.
