Los Angeles: Worlds collided Monday night when presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton went to the set of ABC's 'Scandal' and posed for a selfie with the TV president, played by Tony Goldwyn.
Sources confirm to Variety that Clinton will not have any part on the hit political drama - she was just visiting.
Photos of Clinton were posted on Instagram late tonight. One picture was with Goldwyn and Scott Foley, who wrote, "So, this happened while I was directing tonight. No big deal."
Another was posted by Kerry Washington who said, "A good friend came by set today. Proud to say...#imwithher."
Much of the 'Scandal' cast has voiced their support to the former First Lady - who's currently in L.A. fundraising for her presidential campaign - including Goldwyn who posted a picture with Clinton (seen above) on Twitter, just before the Nevada caucuses, which she won.
In a recent interview with Variety, cast member Darby Stanchfield said 'Scandal' will continue to ramp up presidential parallels, as the election heats up. "How Shonda and the writers are setting out their White House climate in 'Scandal,' it's a really fun water cooler show for what's going on in our country," she said.
For one, the show is currently exploring a storyline with a female politician running for president with Mellie Grant (Bellamy Young) -- also a former First Lady.
