THE Southern Governorate Police arrested three Asians suspected of stealing copper wires from a company in Askar and selling it in the market.
Acting upon a report from an employee of the company, the police were able to ascertain the identities of two of the culprits and catch them red-handed. One of them is a company employee who facilitated the entry of the second man, the thief, to the company. The two men directed the police to the third person who was responsible for selling the stolen goods.
The total value of the stolen goods was estimated to be more than BD6,000. Goods were recovered and appropriate legal measures are being taken to refer the suspects to the Public Prosecution.
