MANAMA: Solidarity Bahrain has received the International Standard Organisation (ISO) 27001 certification from the British Standards Institution (BSI).
Achieving the ISO 27001 standard certifies that Solidarity Bahrain is executing an ideal information security and protection controls framework, by acquiring the necessary and enhanced information security tools to manage and protect the sensitive data of the company and the customers.
In a statement, Solidarity Bahrain assistant general manager for corporate support Mohammed Awachi said: “The fact that we have received the ISO 27001 certification affirms that Solidarity Bahrain has been undergoing an ideal framework for information security, protection controls, and secured IT infrastructure. This achievement will grant our customers the confidence that we are operating within the highest levels of security and in accordance with the international information security standards.”
He added: “The ISO 27001 certification will be a key factor to enhance our customer experience by delivering our innovative services with high level of security.”
The ISO 27001 standard specifies the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS) within the organisation.
By implementing and following the necessary steps to comply with this standard, organisations can identify, control, and eliminate security risks, ultimately certifying the security practices adopted.
