BAHRAINIS travelling to London have been warned after a number of citizens became victims of crime over the holiday period.
No fewer than 10 Bahrainis have reportedly become victims of theft and fraud where they have lost money, personal belongings and passports, in addition to one stabbing incident, according to the Bahraini Embassy.
In a Twitter post, it said it dealt with all of the cases as they happened and provided the necessary support to the victims of those crimes and constant contact with the police to register the crimes and follow up on them.
It called on its citizens to avoid going to places where theft, fraud, begging and crimes are common and follow the travel instructions issued by the Foreign Ministry. In the event of any problems or accidents, citizens can contact the Bahrain embassy in the United Kingdom on +442072019175 and +447902736666.
