The world’s stance towards Iran is clear in light of calls for peace, appeasement and respect of the principles of good neighbourliness and relations with countries, he said.
“Iran’s stance is however confused and Iranians have to clarify it for the world to understand – as every day we hear from them a message destined for one particular side. Their message must be one – just like our message and the world’s which is one,” he added.
He made the statement on the sidelines of a Diplomatic Forum held by the Foreign Ministry, which he opened yesterday, marking Bahraini Diplomacy Day.
On Turkish interferences in Libyan affairs, he denounced foreign interference in regional matters including meddling in Syria and Libya.
“These are Arab countries with boundaries and entities that must be respected,” he said adding the Gulf Cooperation Council has a clear security system which is the basis for joint action and co-operation with allies.
On his part, Saudi Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al Jubeir stressed that Bahrain and Saudi Arabia have had similar visions throughout their history.
The two countries succeeded in overcoming all challenges they faced, which reflects the trust in their balanced, rational and logical policies.
