I pass by a finance company branch in Manama every day while walking to and from work. This morning I witnessed a humbling sight and felt it must be shared on this platform.
The shutters had probably just rolled up and there I spotted the branch manager very carefully sweeping some trash off the floor. Surely that was not among her job responsibilities and the branch certainly has dedicated cleaning staff; but for reasons best known to her, the manager decided to get her hands dirty and didn’t wait for someone else to clean up.
What I could see was a leader in action demonstrating her commitment to the company while working with a positive attitude. Kudos to her!
