Two people have been found dead in a house in Awali, according to the Interior Ministry.
Preliminary information indicates the deaths have been caused by inhaling smoke from heating coal, it said on Twitter, at 3pm.
"The death of two Asian people (47 and 39 years old) in a house in Awali area," it said.
"Preliminary information indicates that the cause of death is suffocation due to inhaling smoke from heating coal.
"Competent authorities begin their procedures at the site."
No further details were available.
