Manama: His Majesty King Hamad, the Supreme Commander, yesterday issued a Royal Order, promoting 677 BDF officers from various ranks.
It was issued marking the kingdom’s celebrations of BDF’s 52nd anniversary.
BDF Commander-in-Chief Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa conveyed greetings from His Majesty and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to the promoted officers, as well as their wishes of further success in serving the kingdom and enhancing its progress.
The BDF Commander-in-Chief also issued an order promoting 3,474 military and civil non-commissioned officers and servicemen from various ranks. He congratulated them, wishing
that the promotions will motivate them to exert more efforts while performing their patriotic duties in defending the nation and achieving more progress for BDF and the kingdom.
The King exchanged cables of congratulations with His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the Crown Prince on the anniversary.
